Air Tanzania selects Sabre for technological modernization

Air Tanzania, the national carrier of Tanzania, has selected Sabre to provide the technological foundation for its next phase of expansion. The airline will migrate its core passenger operations to the SabreSonic Passenger Service System (PSS) and adopt Sabre Mosaic NDC IT.

This transition aims to establish a modern retailing foundation, allowing the carrier to create, optimize, and distribute personalized offers through New Distribution Capability (NDC) technology. The implementation is intended to improve scalability, strengthen interline and codeshare capabilities, and reduce technology fragmentation. By integrating these systems, Air Tanzania seeks to enhance revenue optimization and the overall customer experience as it continues its growth within the East African aviation market.
