Air Tanzania to resume Moscow flights on September 7

Air Tanzania has announced it will resume its direct flights between Dar es Salaam and Moscow on September 7. This follows a brief suspension of the route that began on September 4.

The airline stated that the temporary halt was the result of a routine risk assessment of the operating environment along the route. Management emphasized that safety considerations take precedence over commercial interests and that the company continuously monitors conditions in consultation with relevant authorities.

Prior to the suspension, the carrier had launched these services in July 2026. Passengers affected by the temporary pause were offered full refunds or rebooking options at no additional cost.
