Air Transat Extends Montreal‑Dakar Flights to Year‑Round Service

Air Transat announced that its non‑stop Montreal–Dakar route will operate year‑round. The weekly winter flight will run every Friday from 30 October 2026 to 26 March 2027, using an Airbus A330, while the summer schedule will retain two weekly flights. The airline said the service meets strong demand from the Senegalese community in Quebec and provides a continuous link between Canada and West Africa.

The announcement also included plans to expand Air Transat’s regional network with new seasonal services to Cancún from Windsor and Fredericton, but the core development is the year‑round Montreal–Dakar connection.
