AirAdvisor ranks most luxurious airline experiences for 2026

AirAdvisor has released a ranking of the ten most extravagant luxury airline experiences available in 2026. The study evaluated international carriers based on five criteria: extravagance (35%), rarity (25%), privacy and exclusivity (20%), access scarcity (10%), and beyond-the-seat experiences such as spas or private apartments (10%).

Etihad Airways’ ‘The Residence’ secured the top position with a score of 98/100, described as a three-room apartment in the sky. Emirates followed in second place with its A380 Shower Spa, scoring 91/100. SWISS ranked third with its First Grand Suite, a private loft for up to three people, while Air France’s La Première and Singapore Airlines’ Suites rounded out the top five.

Anton Radchenko, founder and CEO of AirAdvisor, noted that luxury air travel has become an ‘arms race,’ where standard lie-flat seats are no longer sufficient for differentiation. The ranking specifically excluded private aviation, discontinued services, and standard amenities like lounge access or basic amenity kits.
