AirAsia MOVE reports rising international travel for Undas 2026

Booking data from AirAsia MOVE indicates a significant increase in international travel interest for the Undas 2026 holiday period. International hotel bookings rose to 38 percent, more than doubling from 18 percent in 2025, while international flight reservations increased to 17 percent from 14 percent.

Despite the growth in international interest, domestic travel remains the dominant category. Domestic flight bookings accounted for 83 percent of the total, and domestic hotel stays represented 62 percent. Boracay, Cebu, and Manila were among the top domestic destinations, while Taipei emerged as the leading international destination across flights, hotels, and bundled packages.

In response to the expected holiday travel surge, AirAsia Philippines has issued advisories for passengers. The airline is encouraging travelers to utilize flexible baggage options, which allow total weight to be distributed across multiple bags, and to pre-book baggage online to avoid higher fees at the airport. Travelers are also advised to use online check-in to manage expected crowds at terminals.
