AirAsia MOVE wins Asia’s Best Travel Booking App award

AirAsia MOVE has been named Asia’s Best Travel Booking App at the 2026 World Travel Tech Awards, marking the fourth consecutive year the platform has received this distinction. During the same ceremony, the platform also earned titles for World’s Best Low-Cost Airline App and World’s Best Low-Cost Airline Website.

The digital platform reported significant growth, with monthly active users increasing 22 percent year-on-year to reach 17 million. Additionally, app journey searches rose 14 percent to 33 million.

AirAsia MOVE has expanded its offerings beyond flights and hotels to include attraction and experience bookings through a partnership with GetYourGuide, bundled flight-hotel packages via SNAP!, and live entertainment ticketing through MOVETIX. The platform currently connects users with approximately 700 airlines and over one million hotel properties, utilizing the AI-powered chatbot AskBo to assist with user inquiries.
