AirAsia Rewards launches new Points Booking feature

AirAsia Rewards has launched a new “Points Booking” feature, allowing members to book flights using fixed point amounts based on the route rather than fluctuating ticket prices. To utilize this feature, members must book at least 30 days in advance, and availability is subject to limited seat allocations on eligible flights.

To celebrate the launch, the company is offering a 50% pointsback promotion on eligible flight redemptions made through September 30, 2026. The points back will be credited within 45 business days after the campaign period ends and will remain valid for one month from the credit date.

The service is accessible via the AirAsia MOVE app. Members require a minimum balance of 500 points and have the option to pay for flights entirely with points or combine points with credit card payments. Redemptions cover base fares, taxes, and applicable fees across AirAsia’s domestic and international networks.
