Airbag performs sold-out concert at Gigante de Alberdi

The rock band Airbag performed a sold-out concert at the Julio César Villagra Stadium, also known as the Gigante de Alberdi, drawing a capacity crowd of approximately 27,000 people. This event marks a significant return of large-scale musical performances to the venue, which had not hosted a major show of this magnitude since 2007.

During the nearly three-hour set, brothers Patricio, Guido, and Gastón Sardelli performed roughly 38 songs, featuring a large-scale stage production involving an airplane and extensive lighting. Notable moments included a piano rendition of Rodrigo Bueno’s ‘Amor clasificado’ by Patricio Sardelli and a guitar performance of the Argentine National Anthem. The success of the event follows previous cancellations at the stadium due to organizational and municipal permit issues.
