Airbnb and DAZN roll out fan promotions for FIFA World Cup 2026

Airbnb announced a special program for the FIFA World Cup 2026 in which selected hosts in the tournament's 16 U.S. host cities will provide guests with free match tickets. More than 1,300 tickets are available in stay packages that start at $385 per night and cover the competition from the group stage through the final in New York/New Jersey. Guests booking at participating properties receive tickets for up to six people, and the listings are marked with a soccer‑ball icon on the platform. Airbnb’s Chief Business Officer Dave Stephenson said the initiative is intended to help travelers experience the event authentically.

In Italy, streaming service DAZN offered a temporary upgrade to some existing subscribers, allowing simultaneous streaming of World Cup content on two different internet networks at no extra charge. The upgrade, active from 19 June to 19 July 2026, applies to users with the Full plan (which includes the Family plan’s features) and lets one household member watch a match in the living room while another streams on a separate device elsewhere. The promotion ends with the tournament final, after which accounts revert to their standard configuration.
