Airbräu celebrates 27th anniversary at Munich Airport

Airbräu, the brewery located at Munich Airport, will celebrate its 27th anniversary on September 9, 2026. To mark the occasion, the establishment is offering special promotional pricing on select items, including a liter of Fliegerquell beer for 2.00 Euro and traditional Bavarian pork roast with dumplings for 9.99 Euro, while supplies last.

Established in 1999, Airbräu was the world's first airport brewery. It brews its products on-site following the 1516 Reinheitsgebot purity law. The venue features a large covered beer garden with 460 seats, one of the largest in Europe, and hosts various events such as the Airbräu Oktoberfest.

In 2025, the brewery received the ‘Ausgezeichnete Bierkultur’ (Excellent Beer Culture) award from the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism and the Dehoga Bayern association for its commitment to regional brewing traditions.
