Airbus and Boeing increase aircraft deliveries by 8 percent

Airbus and Boeing both reported an approximately 8 percent increase in commercial aircraft deliveries during the first nine months of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025.

Airbus delivered 547 aircraft, including 496 narrow-body planes from the A220 and A320 families, 13 A330s, and 38 A350s. The company secured 1,105 net orders during this period. Airbus maintains its annual delivery target of 870 aircraft for 2026, requiring 323 deliveries in the final quarter. Previous delivery speeds were impacted by issues involving A330 horizontal stabilizers and A321 surface treatments.

Boeing delivered 475 aircraft, consisting of 367 737s, 26 767s, 20 777s, and 62 787s. The company recorded 618 net orders. While Boeing saw growth in its 737 series, deliveries of the 777 model decreased from 29 to 20 compared to the previous year.
