Airbus delivers first aircraft from new Tianjin assembly line

Airbus has delivered the first aircraft assembled at its new second Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Tianjin, China. The delivered aircraft is an A320neo, which was received by China Eastern Airlines.

This new assembly line is the second of its kind in China and the second in Asia. The facility is intended to support Airbus’s global goal of increasing A320 family production to 75 aircraft per month by 2027. Since the original Airbus Tianjin assembly line began operations in 2008, more than 800 A320 family aircraft have been assembled and delivered.
