Airbus selects Indamer Technics for new South Asia radome repair hub

Airbus has selected Indamer Technics to establish South Asia’s first comprehensive radome repair facility in Nagpur, India. Under a new service agreement, the Nagpur site will serve as an authorized facility for the repair, storage, and exchange of radomes for the Airbus A320, A330, A350, and A380 aircraft families.

The facility is designed to provide full structural inspections, testing, paint-stripping, repainting, curing, and advanced non-destructive testing. It will also act as a central hub for radome management, including end-of-life handling and secure disposal. This initiative aims to reduce turnaround times for customers and support the region’s growing aviation fleet.

Indamer Technics is a subsidiary of Horizon Aero Solutions Limited, which is a joint venture between Adani Defence and Aerospace and Prime Aero. The partnership is intended to bolster India’s aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) ecosystem and align with the ‘Make in India’ mission to foster regional self-reliance.
