Airdrie man charged with six counts of sexual assault

A 30-year-old man from Airdrie, Alberta, has been arrested and charged with six counts of sexual assault following a series of incidents at various retail locations in the Calgary area.

According to the RCMP, the assaults began on August 12 at a Walmart in Airdrie, where a woman was groped. Subsequent incidents occurred at the same Walmart, a No Frills grocery store, and two additional locations in Calgary—a Walmart and a Shoppers Drug Mart.

Investigators noted that the accused was captured on video during the alleged offenses and was arrested at his home without incident. The RCMP is seeking to identify two women involved in the September 17 incidents at the No Frills grocery store. The accused is scheduled to appear in court next week.
