Airlines resume and expand flight services to Venezuela

Several airlines are expanding or restoring flight services to and from Venezuela, signaling a recovery in regional and international air connectivity.

Turkish Airlines has resumed direct commercial operations between Istanbul and Caracas, Maiquetía, with four weekly flights using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. This follows a temporary suspension due to seismic events in June.

Caribbean Airlines announced it will resume passenger services between Trinidad and Tobago and Caracas starting October 31, 2026. The airline is also introducing a new weekly non-stop service from Tobago to Toronto on October 25 and will operate charter flights between Trinidad and Panama from December 1, 2026, through early 2027.

Additionally, American Airlines is increasing its presence in the Venezuelan market by adding a second daily frequency on its Miami-Caracas route starting October 15, utilizing Envoy Air aircraft to meet rising demand for business and family travel.
