Airlines launch major international flight fare promotions

Major airlines in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific have announced significant promotional fare offers for international travelers.

Philippine Airlines has launched a seven-day ‘Ultimate Seat Sale’ running from August 24 to 30. The promotion offers up to 40 percent off base fares for travelers departing from Dubai and Riyadh, and up to 30 percent off for those flying from Doha. Eligible travel begins from September 16 and covers the airline’s domestic and international networks, including destinations in North America, Asia, and Australia.

Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, is offering discounts of up to 50 percent on international Guest and Business Class fares. The promotion is available for bookings made between August 20 and September 3, 2026, for travel occurring between September 1 and December 10, 2026. The sale applies to flights departing from Saudi Arabia as well as transit flights through the Kingdom. This initiative supports the airline’s strategy to increase transit traffic through its Jeddah hub.
