Airlines LEVEL and SKY expand South American flight networks
Airlines LEVEL and SKY are expanding their flight networks in South America, focusing on increased connectivity between Europe and Latin America, as well as regional routes within and from Peru.
LEVEL, an IAG group long-haul airline, will increase its service between Barcelona and Lima to four weekly flights starting March 15, 2027. The new Monday frequency will join existing flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays through the end of the summer season in September. The expansion follows strong demand since the route's launch in June.
SKY is also strengthening its presence in Peru by launching three new routes. Starting December 28, 2026, the airline will connect Lima to Rio de Janeiro with daily flights. In early 2027, SKY will introduce the Cusco-Santiago route to facilitate travel between Chile and Peru's imperial city, and will resume the Lima-Puerto Maldonado domestic route on March 1, 2027.
