Airlines resume routes to Budapest and Port Sudan

Flydubai announced the return of its direct service between Dubai International Airport and Budapest, scheduled to start on 31 July 2026 with three weekly flights, expanding to a daily service from 25 October 2026. The carrier said the route reflects its long‑term commitment to the European market and aims to boost business and tourism ties between the United Arab Emirates and Hungary.

EgyptAir will also restart flights to Port Sudan, operating five weekly services beginning 5 August 2026. The airline is offering a 50 % discount on the inaugural flights to encourage bookings. The new schedule is expected to improve connectivity for Sudanese travelers and support trade, diplomatic and humanitarian traffic between Egypt and Sudan.
