Airlines to resume flights to Tel Aviv in September 2026
Several airlines are scheduled to resume flights to Tel Aviv in early September 2026, following disruptions caused by regional conflict.
Delta Air Lines plans to restart its daily New York–Tel Aviv route on September 6, 2026, using Airbus A330-900neo aircraft. United Airlines is also scheduled to resume service around this time. The resumption of these US-based carriers aims to provide more options for travelers ahead of the Jewish High Holidays, potentially increasing competition against Israeli carriers El Al and Arkia.
In Europe, Wizz Air and Cluj International Airport have announced the resumption of direct flights between Cluj and Tel Aviv starting September 7, 2026. These flights will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, ending a six-month suspension of the route due to the geopolitical situation in the region.
