Airlink to start Lanseria‑Harare flights in November 2026

South Africa’s Airlink will begin three‑times‑weekly scheduled services between Johannesburg’s Lanseria International Airport and Harare, Zimbabwe, on 15 November 2026. The route, the first ever scheduled connection between Lanseria and Zimbabwe’s capital, will be operated with an Embraer E190 configured for 98 passengers (six business‑class seats and 92 economy seats) and will feature the airline’s no‑middle‑seat policy.

Flights are planned for Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with departure times of 07:00 local from Lanseria to Harare and a return at 17:45 local. Airlink CEO de Villiers Engelbrecht said the service will capture demand from the western Gauteng and North‑West Province catchment area, adding to existing flights from O.R. Tambo Airport. Passengers will receive complimentary meals, refreshments and generous leg‑room.
