Airport infrastructure expansions at Chubu Centrair and Chennai

Plaza Premium Group has launched a new domestic lounge at Chubu Centrair International Airport in Japan. Located in Terminal 1, the facility accommodates up to 149 guests and provides amenities such as dedicated work areas, WiFi, seating, and refreshments. The lounge is accessible to walk-in travelers, program members, and eligible passengers from airlines including All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines.

In India, a new pickup plaza has been inaugurated at Chennai Airport to manage passenger pickups and reduce traffic congestion at the domestic terminal. Developed for Rs 22.88 crore, the facility includes three dedicated traffic lanes and a seating area for 150 passengers. The plaza will initially serve cab aggregators such as Uber, Ola, and Rapido, with plans to expand to other vehicle types once the system is established.
