Airtech expands drone training centers in Plungė and Klaipėda
The Airtech drone training centers are expanding across Lithuania, with new facilities recently opened in Plungė and Klaipėda. These centers focus on teaching drone piloting, construction, and fundamental technologies to both children and adults.
The Plungė center, established through a partnership between the Lithuanian Non-Formal Education Support Agency (LINEŠA), the Plungė District Municipality, and the Plungė Technology and Business School, aims to provide skills useful for both peace-time professions and national defense preparedness. It is open to students, police officers, security personnel, and enthusiasts.
The Klaipėda center, located at the Klaipėda Technology Training Center, is the seventh such facility in the country. It aims to train at least 200 students by the end of the year, addressing the national need for engineering and UAV specialists while strengthening the region's technological potential.
