Airtech opens drone training center in Plungė

The Airtech drone control training center has officially opened at the Plungė Technology and Business School (TVM). The opening ceremony, held on September 8, was attended by various officials, including Plungė Mayor Audrius Klišonis and the Director of the Lithuanian Non-Formal Education Agency (LINEŠA), Valdas Jankauskas.

Valdas Jankauskas noted that the Airtech network is expanding and highlighted that drone technology is becoming an integral part of daily life, moving beyond purely defensive applications. The center aims to provide opportunities for individuals to learn and improve their drone piloting skills, which officials noted could be useful for both peacetime activities and military service preparation.
