Airtel and District partner to upgrade Bengaluru entertainment venue

District and Airtel have announced a collaboration to enhance the digital infrastructure of a large-scale live entertainment venue in Bengaluru. The 16-acre open-air venue, developed by Go-Golf Entertainment LLP, will be renamed Airtel Arena and has a capacity of over 17,000 people.

Under the agreement, Airtel will invest in dedicated high-capacity, high-speed digital infrastructure to improve network connectivity during large-scale events. These upgrades aim to support real-time livestreaming, digital payments, and social media sharing for audiences. District will maintain management of the on-ground experience for artists, organizers, and fans.

The partnership addresses a shortage of purpose-built, large-capacity venues in India, which currently has fewer than ten facilities capable of hosting more than 10,000 people.
