Airwallex and Air Corporate partner for Hong Kong business setup

Airwallex and Hong Kong-based digital corporate service provider Air Corporate have announced a strategic partnership designed to streamline the business setup process for entrepreneurs. The collaboration aims to resolve the friction caused by the traditional requirement of completing two separate applications for company registration and opening a payment account.

Through Air Corporate’s ‘Expert package’, eligible business owners can register a Hong Kong legal entity and an Airwallex multi-currency account via a single application. Air Corporate manages the Airwallex account opening on behalf of the client, which eliminates the need for founders to resubmit duplicate KYC, director, and shareholder documentation.

The service is specifically targeted at e-commerce brands, cross-border traders, professional services firms, and first-time founders entering or exiting Asia. To mark the launch, the companies are sponsoring 10 clients per month with a complimentary upgrade to the fully-managed Expert package.
