Airwallex expands partnerships with McLaren F1 and Boost Payments

Fintech firm Airwallex has announced an upgraded partnership with the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, elevating its role to Official AI Finance Partner effective January 2027. Building on a technology partnership established in 2024, the expanded deal will see Airwallex deploy AI-native financial software and automated cross-border infrastructure across McLaren’s operational and commercial divisions. The firm will also expand its physical branding on the team’s kit and race cars.

Separately, B2B payments company Boost Payments Solutions has partnered with Airwallex to enhance its international commercial card processing and supplier onboarding capabilities. The collaboration aims to streamline cross-border payment processing and provide scalable infrastructure to support Boost’s expansion into new markets. The integration combines Airwallex’s global processing infrastructure with Boost’s expertise in large-ticket B2B commercial card transactions.
