AIS School implements K-12 education and AI integration
AIS School is fully implementing its K-12 “one-stop” education model, with its Yuen Long campus junior secondary classes having commenced this academic year. To prepare students for the future, the school is integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and STEAM elements into its daily curriculum.
Executive Director Tsai Ka-man stated that the curriculum is designed to progress in depth: kindergarten focuses on interest and problem-solving, primary school emphasizes programming and logical planning, and secondary school focuses on AI robotics operation. The school aims to use AI as a tool to enhance human logical thinking and decision-making rather than replacing it.
In November, the school will welcome Mr. Michael Taylor as the new principal for the primary and junior secondary sections. Mr. Taylor brings over 20 years of international leadership experience across Asia, Europe, and Australia, which is expected to further broaden the school's educational horizons.
