Aitana sets record with four consecutive sold-out shows in Barcelona
Spanish pop star Aitana has achieved a historic milestone at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, becoming the first female artist to perform four consecutive sold-out shows at the venue. This feat matches the record previously held by the Irish band U2.
The Cuarto Azul World Tour has seen significant commercial success, with the artist surpassing 140 million streams in the last month and maintaining over 20 million monthly listeners. Her Spanish leg includes ten consecutive sold-out dates across Barcelona, Madrid, and Bilbao, totaling over 450,000 tickets sold. The tour is scheduled to continue to Latin America in October, with stops in Bogotá, Buenos Aires, and various cities in Mexico.
During her final concert in Barcelona, Aitana addressed the audience in Catalan, emphasizing the importance of preserving the language in Catalonia. She noted that while she speaks Spanish at home, her bilingual education has been vital, expressing a desire to practice and improve her fluency in Catalan.
