Spanish singer Aitana saw her single “Superestrella” climb to the top of Billboard’s Hot Latin Pop Songs chart, posting a 45 % jump to 12.8 million U.S. audience impressions and reaching No. 1 in its 22nd week – the longest ascent since the chart’s launch in April 2025. The surge followed a performance at Spain’s official 2026 World Cup celebration in Madrid’s Plaza Cibeles and helped her album Cuarto Azul rise to No. 12 on the Top Latin Pop Albums list. The track also posted gains on the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, with 17.1 million worldwide streams.

In a separate development, Colombian star Karol G introduced a new song “No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto,” which fans claim copies the concept and melody of Aitana’s earlier track “Cuando hables con él.” The plagiarism allegation has sparked online debate as both artists promote their respective releases.
