Aitoloakarnania IKA Retirees Association to hold General Assembly

The Board of Directors of the Aitoloakarnania IKA Retirees Association has called for a General Accountability Assembly to be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in Agrinio, at the Labor Center hall.

The assembly will cover administrative and financial reports, the Audit Committee report, and the action program for the upcoming period. In its announcement, the association called for mass participation to continue their struggle against the cost of living and low pensions.

The group is demanding several measures, including the unconditional payment of the 13th and 14th pensions, the abolition of the solidarity contribution, and a 70% rate for all widow pensions. They are also seeking a 400 euro payment for all retirees regardless of age, measures against energy poverty, and increased healthcare staffing in the hospitals of Agrinio and Missolonghi.
