AJ Styles addresses fan speculation regarding AEW move

Retired WWE veteran AJ Styles has addressed social media speculation regarding a potential move to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Following his retirement from in-ring competition at the 2026 Royal Rumble, Styles has remained with WWE, where he currently works in backstage roles and produces matches.

The speculation arose after Styles expressed agreement with AEW World Champion Will Ospreay regarding the talent of wrestler Dragon Kid. When a fan suggested on X that Styles should join AEW based on this interaction, Styles responded by questioning if the suggestion was merely due to his agreement with Ospreay.

Despite the rumors of him jumping ship, Styles has expressed admiration for Ospreay, stating that he would love to see the AEW star join WWE due to his talent. Styles remains under contract with WWE, which prevents him from working for other wrestling organizations until his current agreement concludes.
