AJ Styles discusses WWE training and NXT production role

WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles has shared insights into his current roles within the company, focusing on both training and match production. Speaking on ‘The AJ Styles Show’, Styles detailed the intense cardio-heavy training sessions he conducts at the WWE Performance Center, emphasizing that high levels of conditioning are essential to prevent injury and ensure wrestlers can recover quickly during matches.

Styles also expressed interest in producing the NXT Championship Fatal 4-Way match at the upcoming NXT Heatwave event. The match features Tony D’Angelo defending against Cruz Montana, Grayson Waller, and Zilla Fatu. Since retiring from in-ring competition at the 2026 Royal Rumble, Styles has been increasingly involved in behind-the-scenes production for NXT and WWE EVOLVE.

NXT Heatwave is scheduled to take place on August 30 at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas.
