AJ Styles remains open to returning to professional wrestling

WWE superstar AJ Styles has indicated that while he is currently retired, he remains open to a potential return to the ring. Styles, known as ‘The Phenomenal One’, officially retired following a loss to Gunther in a career-threatening match at the Royal Rumble.

During an appearance on Cody Rhodes’ podcast, ‘What Do You Wanna Talk About?’, Styles addressed his retirement status. Comparing his stance to Michael Jordan, he stated, ‘If I want to come back, I come back.’ He noted that while he is satisfied with his retirement and his recent exit in Atlanta, he does not consider his career to be completely finished.

Styles also discussed a past incident during his match against Cody Rhodes at Backlash: France, where he faced management scrutiny for suggesting Rhodes kick out of his ‘Burning Hammer’ move at a count of one to create a more impactful moment.
