A'ja Wilson Leads Las Vegas Aces to Commissioner's Cup Final and Lands on Wheaties Box
Three‑time WNBA champion A'ja Wilson was announced as the newest Wheaties Champion, becoming the fourth Black woman featured on the iconic cereal box. General Mills will donate $50,000 to the A'ja Wilson Foundation as part of the partnership.
Wilson also topped the 2026 WNBA All‑Star fan voting with 308,249 votes, far ahead of Paige Bueckers and other stars. Her on‑court performance continued in the regular season, where she recorded 33 points, 11 rebounds and five steals as the Las Vegas Aces defeated the Phoenix Mercury 86‑76, clinching a spot in the Commissioner's Cup championship game.
The Aces, defending WNBA champions, will face the New York Liberty on June 30 for the Cup title. Wilson’s achievements this year include averaging 25.6 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game, and she recently signed a three‑year contract that makes her the highest‑paid player in WNBA history.
