Dutch and Belgian clubs finalize summer transfer deals

RKC Waalwijk have secured Portuguese forward Keyan Varela on a season‑long loan from Swiss side Servette, with an option to buy. The 20‑year‑old arrives with experience in the UEFA Europa League and youth caps for Portugal.

PSV Amsterdam completed the signing of midfielder Sven Mijnans from AZ for €13 million and saw midfielder Ismael Saibari leave for Bayern Munich for €50 million. Several players returned from loan spells as the Dutch champions reshape their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.

In Belgium, Cercle Brugge are linked with former KRC Genk and KV Mechelen goalkeeper Gaëtan Coucke as they look to replace departing keepers Warleson and Maxim Delanghe. Charleroi have loaned winger Raymond Asante to Francs Borains without a purchase option. Westerlo will receive around €5 million as defender Emin Bayram transfers to Turkish side Istanbul Başakşehir.

Go Ahead Eagles announced the arrivals of Norwegian striker Erik Flataker on a contract until 2030 and Finnish left‑back Tomas Galvez from Manchester City. The club also noted the departure of forward Sophie Proost to Bayern München. Across the Dutch and Belgian leagues, clubs are active in the summer market, aiming to strengthen squads for the upcoming campaigns.
