Ajax captain Davy Klaassen discusses tactical shifts and victory over AZ

Ajax captain Davy Klaassen addressed the team's performance following their 1-0 victory against AZ. While celebrating the win, Klaassen noted that the team struggled to play out from the back under pressure from AZ, particularly after the opening fifteen minutes.

Klaassen also commented on his recent tactical adjustment under manager Míchel Sánchez, where he has been deployed in a makeshift right-wing role. He stated that the position suits him well and provides the team with an extra player in midfield. He emphasized the necessity of professional adaptation within the squad, noting that players must accept coaching decisions, including positional changes or being placed on the bench, to maintain the standards of a top-tier club.
