Ajax defender Janse praises Tolu Arokodare's impact

Ajax defender Dies Janse has praised Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare, stating that training against the Super Eagles forward is accelerating his professional development. Janse described Arokodare as a ‘beast’ and noted that the high intensity of training at Ajax allows young players to learn from experienced teammates in areas such as physical strength and turning.

Arokodare joined Ajax on a season-long loan from Wolves during the summer transfer window in search of consistent form. Following a challenging period in England, the 25-year-old has seen a resurgence in the Netherlands, recording six goals across all competitions and providing an assist on his debut against PEC Zwolle.
