Ajax extends Julian Rijkhoff's contract and loans him to FC Andorra

Ajax announced that forward Julian Rijkhoff has signed a new contract running until 30 June 2028, with an option for an additional season. The club also confirmed that Rijkhoff will spend the 2026‑27 campaign on loan at FC Andorra, the team that competes in Spain’s Segunda División, and that Andorra holds an option to make the move permanent in the summer of 2027.

Rijkhoff arrived at Ajax in the winter of 2024 from Borussia Dortmund for under €1.5 million. He previously spent a season on loan at Almere City in the Dutch second tier, where he scored 19 goals in 44 matches across all competitions. Ajax sporting director Jordi Cruyff was involved in the contract extension and the loan arrangement.
