Ajax legends partner with fast-food chain FEBO

Former AFC Ajax players Bryan Roy, Richard Witschge, Ronald de Boer, and Marciano Vink have entered into a partnership with the fast-food chain FEBO.

The group of players was famously referred to as the ‘patatgeneratie’ (potato generation) by coach Leo Beenhakker in 1989, a term used to describe their perceived lack of perseverance. To celebrate the launch of ‘Verse FEBO Frites’, the snack chain has rebranded the group as the ‘Verse FEBO Frites Generatie’.
