Ajax negotiates permanent transfer for Tolu Arokodare

Ajax has entered discussions with Wolverhampton Wanderers to secure a permanent transfer for Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare. The 25-year-old is currently on loan at the Dutch club following a difficult period at Wolves, which included a season that ended in relegation from the Premier League.

Arokodare has demonstrated significant form during his loan spell, recording nine goals and three assists in 14 appearances across all competitions. His recent performances include a decisive role in a 2–0 UEFA Conference League victory against Atalanta.

While Ajax is reportedly unwilling to exceed a €25m valuation, Wolves have not set a specific asking price and may seek a higher fee. If an agreement is not reached during the winter window, the negotiations may continue into the summer, potentially allowing the striker to remain at Ajax on loan in the interim.
