Ajax player transfer outlook discussed by Mike Verweij

Ajax analyst Mike Verweij suggests that the club is unlikely to sell Youri Baas during the upcoming winter transfer window. Verweij noted that because Ajax is prioritizing a title challenge this season, selling players mid-season would be counterproductive to their sporting goals.

Verweij also compared the long-term prospects of Baas and Dies Janse. While acknowledging Baas's footballing ability, Verweij indicated that the club may see more future value in Janse due to his physical profile, which he believes is better suited for a potential high-value transfer to the Premier League.

Additionally, the discussion touched upon Owen Wijndal, noting a shift in sentiment regarding his role within the squad under manager Míchel Sánchez.
