Ajax talent Abdellah Ouazane discusses ambitions and inspirations

Ajax talent Abdellah Ouazane has expressed his ambitions to reach the professional level of teammate Julian Brandt, provided he is given the necessary time and space to develop. The 17-year-old described himself as a creative player who reads the game well, focusing on dribbling and passing.

Ouazane noted that he is currently working with the club’s performance department to improve his physical strength and fitness. He also shared his admiration for players like Luka Modric and Jude Bellingham, while identifying Liverpool as his dream club.

Regarding his connection to the club, Ouazane explained that he wears the number 68 as a tribute to Abdelhak Nouri, noting that 68 is twice 34, Nouri’s number. He expressed a desire to serve as a role model for youth players at the Ajax academy, much like Nouri has done.
