Ajax targets Keito Nakamura to replace Mika Godts
Ajax is reportedly interested in signing Japanese international winger Keito Nakamura from Stade de Reims to replace Mika Godts. According to reports from Dutch media, Ajax technical director Jordi Cruijff has already made contact with Nakamura’s representatives.
While a formal club-to-club negotiation has not yet commenced, Nakamura is viewed favorably by the Amsterdam-based club. The 26-year-old attacker, who previously played for FC Twente, is said to be open to the move.
Stade de Reims has set a transfer valuation of approximately 15 million euros (roughly 2.7 billion yen) for the player. Although Ajax is a primary suitor, other clubs are also reportedly monitoring the winger's situation as the transfer window nears its close.
