Ajay Devgn's Dhamaal 4 Opens Strong, Hits ₹21.5 cr Worldwide

The comedy‑adventure "Dhamaal 4", directed by Indra Kumar and starring Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jaaferi, was released in Indian theatres on 10 July 2026. The film opened with a net collection of between ₹13.75 cr and ₹15.50 cr in India, a domestic gross of around ₹16.5 cr and an overseas gross of about ₹5 cr, taking its worldwide opening‑day total to roughly ₹21.5 cr. Occupancy rose to about 24 per cent, making it the highest‑grossing new release of the day and the second‑best opening in the Dhamaal franchise after "Total Dhamaal". Audience reactions were mixed: many praised the familiar slap‑stick humor and ensemble performances, while others criticised the weak script, AI‑generated visual effects and the recreated "Bella Ciao" track used in a treasure‑hunt sequence. The film also featured an AI‑generated tribute to the late Satish Kaushik. A post‑credit scene confirmed that "Dhamaal 5" is already in development.
