Ajay Devgn's Juhu bungalow receives BMC stop-work notice

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a stop-work notice regarding actor Ajay Devgn’s bungalow in the Kapol Co-operative Housing Society in Juhu. The action follows a complaint from the residential society concerning the proposed commercial use of the 7,802-square-foot property for a premium salon and spa.

Residents of the housing society raised objections, citing concerns that the commercial venture would lead to increased customer traffic, impacting parking, security, and noise levels on the area's narrow roads. The K-West ward of the BMC stated that no permission had been granted for commercial activities at the site.

In response to the notice, the Devgn family has requested a four-week period to provide a formal response and necessary documentation. While the housing society claims required papers were not provided, sources close to the actor suggest that all necessary authorizations are in order.
