Ajeetesh Sandhu extends lead at Chennai Open 2026

Ajeetesh Sandhu has extended his lead to three shots heading into the final round of the INR 1 crore Chennai Open 2026. Playing at the TNGF Cosmo Golf Course, the 37-year-old golfer from Chandigarh carded a bogey-free four-under 68 during the third round, bringing his total to 17-under 199.

Viraj Madappa moved into second place at 14-under 202 after recording the day’s lowest score of a nine-under 63. Madappa’s round included an eagle on the par-four sixth and eight birdies.

Stepan Danek of the Czech Republic sits in third place at 13-under 203. Other notable competitors include Jairaj Singh Sandhu and Amardeep Malik, who are currently tied for fourth at 12-under 204.
