AJet brings Wing Up Program students to Sabiha Gökçen Airport

AJet has organized an ‘Operation Day’ at Sabiha Gökçen Airport for participants of its Wing Up Program. This initiative allows university students, who work part-time in administrative roles at AJet General Management, to observe real-world aviation operations on-site.

During the event, students observed various processes including ground operations, ticketing, baggage handling, and flight crew workflows. The program also included visits to the apron and hangars to witness aircraft maintenance and cabin equipment installations. This field experience is designed to complement their administrative roles by providing a practical understanding of the aviation ecosystem during high-traffic periods.

The Wing Up Program, which targets third- and fourth-year university students, selected 47 participants from 2,500 applicants for its first term. Additionally, 15 students who graduated while participating in the program transitioned to full-time positions at AJet as of September 1, 2026.
