Ajinkya Rahane discusses Virat Kohli’s pursuit of 100 international centuries

Former Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane has commented on Virat Kohli’s pursuit of Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 100 international centuries. Following Kohli’s recent performance against the West Indies, where he scored an unbeaten 139 runs off 88 balls to help India secure an 8-wicket victory, Kohli has reached 86 international hundreds.

Rahane suggested that Kohli likely has his sights set on the 100-century milestone. He noted that while some may view focusing on personal milestones as selfish, Kohli often performs at his best when he applies pressure to himself through high personal expectations. Rahane added that given Tendulkar is Kohli’s role model, it is natural for him to aspire to such a historic achievement.
