Ajinomoto announces new products and athlete partnerships

Ajinomoto Co., Inc. has announced several strategic initiatives, including a major autumn 2026 product lineup and new athlete partnerships. During a recent product briefing, the company unveiled various new food items designed to meet evolving consumer insights, such as 'Pure Select Mayonnaise Fuwa-ama' using fresh domestic eggs and 'TASTY PASTY' tomato paste in a convenient tube format. Other releases include new flavors of Knorr cup soups, specialized 'Nabe Cube' seasonings, and expanded 'Cook Do' premium series products.

Addressing climate change, Ajinomoto launched its 'Goki Sou-sama Project' for 2025. The initiative focuses on the 'Madonatsu' (still summer) period—a transitional phase between summer and autumn characterized by extreme temperature fluctuations. The company is promoting 'Kawari-me Gohan' (transition meals) to help consumers navigate the difficulty of deciding on menus when weather patterns shift rapidly.

Additionally, the company has entered into partnership agreements with competitive swimmers Tomoyuki Matsushita and Tatsuya Murasa. Aiming toward the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, Ajinomoto will provide nutritional support and product provisions based on its 'AminoScience' technology to assist the athletes in their performance and conditioning.
