Rot‑Weiss Essen releases summer pre‑season program with Bad Griesbach camp

Rot‑Weiss Essen has outlined its preparation plan for the 2026/27 season. After a non‑public performance diagnostics session (June 25‑26), the club will hold its first open training on June 27, followed by a test match against VfB Bottrop on July 4 and another versus ETB SW Essen on July 11. From July 13 to July 17 the team will train in Bad Griesbach, Bavaria, before playing an away friendly against Austrian 1. Liga side SV Ried on July 17. Ticket sales for the Ried match and the season‑opening fixture against Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach (July 25) will begin after the club’s season‑ticket sales close on July 3.

The schedule continues with the 3. Liga campaign starting on August 7, a second league round in mid‑August, and a DFB‑Pokal first‑round home tie against FC St. Pauli in late August, for which ticket sales will also follow the season‑ticket deadline.
